14days is FULL of plot twists, it is not predictable at all, at the end of every episode you make considerations, but in the next the situation is completely different and new. I loved how they were able to make me think a lot about the mistery and the reason of what was happening, and then they bring up something out of nowhere but not unrealistic.

PersonallyI absolutlely love it when there is a special or "extra" content, and there even is a special clip of the directors ending cut, so a few more pieces were put together, but not entirely, you'll have to see for yourself. Also the preview of "Doctor Stranger" was quick and really fun! Are you too eager to see Lee Jong Suk again?

If you don't want to watch this drama for the plot, watch it for this man. If there was an award called "The Biggest Heartthrob" Ki Dong Chan would win that category, hands down and no questions asked. This man is not only incredibly handsome, he is also smart, loyal, funny, selfless and on top of that kicks ass like a pro. I've probably never seen a more attractive character in any TV show. Okay that's enough time wasted on my preferences in male characters, now for the actual review. When I first clicked in to rate this show, I gave the drama a 9. But then I did what every normal person does after watching an insanely good show - went to spazz to my mom about it - and I realized that I used the word "masterpiece" to describe this drama so many times that I had to come back and change it to a full 10. It was that good. Plot vise this drama really is a masterpiece. I was sitting on the edge of my chair the whole time while watching and I bet you'll do the same. Just when you think you've caught on to the plot and know how the scenario is going to play out, something new and unexpected is thrown in your face. I was confused for the most part and you will be too, but don't worry, cause in the end, everything will click into place and you're gonna be left with your mouth gaping open, thinking that how on earth does such a complicated story come down to such a simple trigger. But I'll say no more, I don't want to spoil anything. One of the things that I really liked about this drama was that after I was finished, I was left with a sort of full feeling. This is one of the few dramas where there is an actual message in the plot; something that says something really important about the world. It's a theme that becomes evident already in the plot and is carried out throughout the entire drama a real mother will do anything to protect her child. I definitely liked how the theme was portrayed in the drama via various characters. Cast and acting was top class. I've always respected Lee Bo Young but I was still amazed how spot-on her interpretation of Kim Soo Hyun was. She was a very convincing devastated mother but somehow also managed to incorporate a tough woman image into the character. She also had great chemistry with her co-actor, Cho Seung Woo who plays Ki Dong Chan. Now, I already talked about him but if it didn't become clear yet, I'll spell it out for you. I'm in love with this man. He is not just an amazing actor but also a great singer and insanely dreamy. Search up his musicals, they're great. I'm also going to take a moment to mention Kim Yoo Bin who plays the role of Soo Hyun's daughter, Han Saet Byul. Her acting is what it is, I won't comment much on that but considering her age, she is pretty great. She is one of the most promising child actors right now and I'm sure we're going to be seeing her a lot in the future. And then, last but not least, I want to talk about one of the two idols who acted in this drama, Baro. I was really surprised and even a bit worried when I heard what kind of a role he'd be taking on, just because playing a character with an intellectual disability can be very difficult and also very emotional doesn't sound exactly right but I hope you get the point. Turns out I worried for nothing. Baro was great in his role and following his character, Yong Gyu, and his friendship with Saet Byul was very heartwarming. There isn't really much that I want to say about the music for this drama. It was good and suited the scenes and there was a nice range of songs from emotional pieces to more intense and dark ones that went well with the action. I have nothing to complain about so full ten it is. One last thing that I want to mention is that this drama could be considered horror as a genre. There isn't any real massacre or slaughtering well there's a bit but the psychological war that goes on in this drama is really terrifying. I had a hard time watching some bits alone in my room, late at night, so just take a little caution on that. Rewatchability is definitely also very high because the plot is very confusing until the very end and I think it would be fun to watch the drama again, just to see how different the events look when you know exactly what is going on. However, I had to dock one mark because there are certain events in the drama that I do not wish to see twice. In the end, the plot does revolve very closely around the theme of murder so that shouldn't come as a surprise. I tried to make this review short, I really did, and look at what happened XD Anyways, my final verdict is that "God's Gift - 14 Days" is absolutely a show worth watching. Even if you're not into thriller-suspense kind of themes, give it a go because, come on, there's Ki Dong Chan in it. Leia Mais Esta resenha foi Ăștil para vocĂȘ?
Godâs Gift 14 Days is a suspense drama about a woman Lee Bo Young whose daughter is kidnapped and murdered, but she gets the opportunity to go back in time and try to prevent her daughterâs death with the help of a detective Jo Seung Woo. Godâs Gift 14 Days is one of those dramas that has been on my watch list pretty much since it came out, but I just never made it around to watching it. Well, I finally did, but sadly, the drama was a big disappointment. So letâs get into it. Lee Bo Young plays Kim Soo Hyun who works for a crime solving TV show. Her life is turned upside down when her daughter is kidnapped and ultimately murdered. But when she gets the chance to relive the time leading up to that, she desperately works to save her. Jo Seung Woo is Ki Dong Chan who is a has-been detective that finds himself mixed up with Soo Hyun and her daughter. Heâs a lively character who is very rough around the edges, but he has a good heart and carries around some trauma. So why didnât Godâs Gift 14 Days work for me? First, I just plain struggled to get into this drama from start to finish. Iâve seen it described as being very suspenseful repeatedly, but it didnât feel very intense to me. It should have since the stakes are quite high and there is plenty of action, but it just didnât. I got more bored as it went along despite the thickening story and a whole lot going on. This was also a rare case for me where the story felt very forced. There are so many convenient plot devices used one right after the other. It really was too much and made everything feel so unnatural. And the police work and logic was pretty awful too. The characters in this drama also make some very illogical choices, and quite a few of them at that. Soo Hyun certainly made her fair share of bad decisions. I found Soo Hyunâs husband Ji Hoo Kim Tae Woo to be a difficult character as he does some very questionable things that just didnât make sense, especially if he even remotely cared for his wife. I know he was meant to cause additional conflict, but he was too much. On the plus side, the drama is plotted pretty well with new things always going on. There is actually a pretty elaborate mystery in place with a lot of layers of the story to peel back. This does allow for some twists and big reveals. Itâs like the concept of the story is good, but much of the details and how it unfolds is what is not so great. I thought the way the story was laid out was a tad confusing and certain story elements werenât adequately explained. There were many times that I wondered why things happened and was kind of left in the dark. Just enough was explained to get the gist of things, but the full explanation remained cloudy. Then everything just gets so complicated and crazy that I found it all to be pretty ridiculous. Now all of the actors were wonderful in the drama. Everyone is cast well, and they go all in for their characters. Lee Bo Young was particularly good as our leading lady. I could really feel her desperation to save her daughter. Jo Seung Woo was also very enjoyable with his lively character that added a bit of levity in the beginning and then progressed to being quite intense in the latter part. Jo Seung Woo and Lee Bo Young also made a pretty good team and worked well together. Then thereâs the central relationship of a mother and her daughter. Itâs a relationship that starts out quite strained, but then losing Saet Byul Kim Yoo Bin opens Soo Hyunâs eyes to whatâs important. And Soo Hyun will do anything to save Saet Byul. Her love for her daughter is very moving. Although I do have to mention that this child has a bad a habit of getting herself in dangerous situations and really doesnât make it easy to avoid getting kidnapped. Sheâs a sweet kid, but she sure doesnât listen, breaks the rules, sneaks out, and cries a whole lot. It certainly makes the bad guyâs job easier and momâs job a lot harder. So aside from this drama being known as a suspenseful and thrilling tale, the other big thing it is known for is its ending. Without spoiling it, for those who donât like somewhat open and rushed endings, this drama will be a big disappointment. Iâve heard about that from fans many times over the years and it is understandable considering how much build up there is for the ending. Since I wasnât really feeling the drama, I was actually kind of hoping it would just go all out be completely crazy and terrible after all that discontent from fans. But I was disappointed again, lol. Like I said, itâs rushed, left open, and doesnât explain things well. But I mostly felt neutral towards it. I can see why others would be far more disappointed than me though, especially if you were enjoying the drama. As you can see, I had quite a few issues with Godâs Gift 14 Days. Itâs disappointing since I was expecting a pretty high quality thriller and instead got an overly complicated, messy, and un-engaging drama. But there are a whole lot of people who loved this drama and enjoyed it for the most part. So maybe give it a go, but watch out for that ending! My Rating 5/10 Read more Kdrama Reviews. ï»żReally Great Start I knew very little about this drama going into it, but I've got to say that that the first episode was really something! The music really helps with the suspense... that scene with in the restaurant and of course the last scene were really high suspenseful. First episodes of drama tend to be pretty great across the board, but I hope that the rest of the drama can live up to this one episode. Was this review helpful to you? Ep 1 The Hook's Already In... I Love this acrtess after seeing her in 'I Can Hear Your Voice'. Everything about her says "class" and I can't look away. The subject matter is hard to appreciate, so, if it's tastefully managed, I'm sure it'll be resolved well. The Drama description gives away a painful detail about what's to come. There's a Spoiler in the PR Department... Was this review helpful to you? Very promising ! Cause of this episode I go in bed at midnight yesterday... Since the start of the episode I was 100% inside, the beginning with the tale and the animation, it's just so beautiful ! And after ... wow... Never see a drama like this... I was stressed all the time the little girl was alone, I know she will be killed or something like that, but seriously when ? And this horrible disagreeable and frightening voice in the end.... Want to see the next episode, now. Was this review helpful to you? Episode 1 review at the beginning you start to get really irritated at the little girl, but by the end you are in a pool of tears! ah, this show has gotten to me hard!! btw, I DON'T trust her husband Was this review helpful to you? Episode 01 From the beginning, with the story about the mother and her child, and the end, with the phone dial ringing endlessly, was a slightly slow, but very intriguing first episode. The characters, particularly the mother, by Lee Bo Young, and the mentally disabled child, by Baro, are the most interesting for me. I suspect there will be a lot of character development-at least, I hope so-and I look forward to the test of this drama. Was this review helpful to you? impressive!! OH MY GOD !! the episode is amzaing that i almost forgot that i'm watching a drama, ii'm so speechless!!! lee bo young's acting is perfect as always, the child is cute, and baro!! omg he's really improving*_* i just want to watch more... Was this review helpful to you? Well... For me, I thought it was a slow start. I love the acting so i'm gonna stick to the show in hope the pace will get better Was this review helpful to you? Fantastic Episode! I loved it! Lee Bo Young never fails to impress me! The acting was great and I am anticipating many episodes to come. I thought Baro did a great job with his part; his acting is improving. One great thing about this drama is IT IS SO HD. It's like I'm watching a movie! I also loved how at the end, the ending wasn't the same cliche ending that most dramas do. Usually a drama will end with a dramatic pause of the characters faces and then they'll drop in the OST in the background. This drama ended the episode differently than that. I liked it a lot! Was this review helpful to you? Soon You'll Lose The Thing You Love The Most...Don't Escape...Face It! Great 1st ep...had me on the edge of my seat...starting from the animation at the beginning of the ep...my curiosity rose & with every step the little girl had...my heart was about to explode...is it now? will she get killed now? my mind kept thinking...that kid is a real trouble maker! All the characters are interesting & they're all connected in the weirdest & most twisted way! I think I understand why all those great actors decided to work on this drama though it's chance in ratings is weak it's rival is Empress Ki which already passed the 25% ratings! For the acting...every single character is doing great...not a single scene had a crappy acting..from the little girl to the grandmother...LBY...KTW...JGW..but the great surprise was CSW...he's a great actor! Anyways...This is a unique drama that's worth trying...it's not like Two Weeks at all! Read More Was this review helpful to you?
